As of July 2016, Ocean Jet has added more trips for the Cebu to Bohol route and Ormoc to Bohol route. There are also new routes added like Cebu City to Camotes Island, and soon: Tabuelan (in Cebu) to Estancia (in Iloilo). Unfortunately, Ocean Jet has not made the following routes available anymore: Benoni, Cagayan de Oro and Jagna. Fret not though, because roll-on and roll-off vessels are available to serve the suspended routes at the moment.

In cases of cancelled trips, at least one still has other schedules to look into; except of course when it’s the Coast Guard who calls the shots because of gale warnings.
Ocean Jet tickets are available for booking at least two weeks before departure. For routes with Libre Balik Promo like Cebu to Tagbilaran, the seats are quite limited so it is best to book early. If one cannot avail of the Libre Balik Promo, then one has to revert to regular rates instead. Please note that terminal fees are not included in the ticket cost. The terminal fees have to be paid onsite at the respective seaports. The same goes for porter fees. Some seaports have fixed porter fees for checked-in bags, while others would charge depending on quantity and size of bags.
Booking Ocean Jet tickets has never been this convenient. Aside from being able to book through the pier, travel agencies like Green Earth Tours and Travel can already issue e-tickets so that it is convenient for tourists who can just save the PDF files in their gadgets for them to present when checking-in. Seat numbers are assigned onsite at the pier. Please make sure to check-in at least 45 minutes or even an hour prior your trip so as to make trip as orderly as possible.
