Hong Kong remains to be a favourite destination for friends and family alike due to its proximity to the Philippines. It only takes less than 3 hours to travel from Cebu to Hong Kong or from Manila to Hong Kong. There is no visa requirement for Filipinos going to Hong Kong for vacation. Filipino Tourists in Hong Kong only need a valid passport to enter and will not be required to go through a visa application process.

However, there are some who wish to stay longer so they can visit nearby Macau, which is only 1 hour away from Hong Kong via fast ferry. Tour Package Option # 1 3D/2N HONG KONG FREE-AND-EASY
Day 1 – Arrive Hong Kong International Airport. A tour representative will meet you outside the arrival area, and endorse you to your coach to bring you to your hotel. Standard check-in time is at 1400H. Overnight.
Day 2 – Breakfast at hotel. Complimentary City Tour to cover spots like Avenue of the Starts, Aberdeen Fishing Village, the Mid-level of Victoria Peak, and a jewelry factory outlet. After the tour, we will drop you off at Tsimshatsui area so you can enjoy free time shopping and return to your hotel on your own arrangement. You can choose to take the MTR, bus or take a cab instead. Overnight.
Day 3 – End of Hong Kong Vacation. Breakfast at hotel. 1200H Standard check-out time. Drop-off to hotel approximately 3 hours prior your departure. You will be briefed at the arrival area as to your exact pick-up time.
Tour Package Option # 2 3D/2N HONG KONG WITH DISNEYLAND TOUR
Days 1 and 3 – Same as Option #1
Day 2 – Breakfast at hotel. Complimentary City Tour around Hong Kong. (Please see itinerary of Hong Kong City Tour indicated in Option #1. After the tour, we will bring you to Disneyland where you can try all the available rides and watch the available shows. There are many food stalls in Disneyland from where you can buy your meals. Stay in Disneyland Hong Kong until the fireworks display at night before heading home to your hotel. Transfers to hotel is included. Overnight.
Tour Package Option # 3 3D/2N HONG KONG WITH OCEAN PARK TOUR
Days 1 and 3 – Same as Option #1
Day 2 – Breakfast at hotel. Complimentary City Tour around Hong Kong. (Please see itinerary of Hong Kong City Tour indicated in Option #1. After the tour, we will bring you to one of Hong Kong’s premier theme parks: Ocean Park. Ocean Park is a world-class marine life theme park featuring animal exhibits, thrill rides and shows that offer guests an experience that blends entertainment with education and conservation. Transfers to hotel is included after the tour. Overnight.
Tour Package Option # 4 3D/2N HONG KONG WITH MACAU DAY TRIP
Days 1 and 3 – Same as Option #1
Day 2 – Breakfast at hotel. We will pick you up from your hotel in Hong Kong to bring you to the wharf. Your roundtrip ferry tickets from Hong Kong to Macau and vice versa are included in the package, as well as your day tour in Macau to cover spots like the Senado Square, St. Paul Ruins, Ah Ma Temple and host of other attractions. Please ask us about an optional visit to the Venetian Resort, wherein which we can also arrange for your dinner in Macau. After tour, head back to Macau wharf and be on your way back to your hotel in Hong Kong. Please do not forget of always bring your passport and travel documents along.
Tour Package Option # 5 3D/2N HONG KONG WITH DAY TRIP TO SHENZEN
Days 1 and 3 – Same as Option #1
Day 2 – Breakfast at hotel. We will pick you up from your hotel in Hong Kong to Shenzen. Do not worry about visa to enter Shenzen, as we will include you in our group visa arrangements. The main attraction for this tour package is the visit to the Shenzhen Window of the World Theme Park, which is a fantastic replica park situated at the Overseas Chinese Town. Here you can see vivid replicas of the world’s wonders, historical heritages and famous scenic sites. Head back to Hong Kong after the tour.
OPTIONAL TOURS IN HONG KONG
For those of you with a lot of time in your hands, you may want to consider availing of any of the optional tours in Hong Kong. If you have already booked your hotel in Hong Kong by yourself, you can also avail of our optional tours provided that the hotel you are staying at is part of the hotels where our tour bus will pass though. Please consult with us before you decide on getting your tours in Kong Kong so we can advise you regarding the feasibility as to timings.
Optional Tour #1 FULL DAY TOUR DISNEY HONG KONG
Includes roundtrip transfers from hotel to Disneyland and back. This Hong Kong Tour is for the kids and the kids at heart. A whole day tour in Disneyland allows you to thoroughly enjoy the park’s amenities and rides. The shopaholics will also have a grand time as there are many Disney souvenirs to bring back home. Disneyland Hong Kong has the following theme parks: Mystic Point, Grizzly Gulch, Toy Story Land, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Adventureland. This tour will give you a whole day access to everything!
Optional Tour #2 FULL DAY TOUR AT OCEAN PARK HONG KONG
Includes roundtrip transfers from hotel to Ocean Park and back. Ocean Park, is a marine mammal park, oceanarium, animal theme park and amusement park. The Waterfront features interesting sections like Amazing Asian Animals, Aqua City, Whiskers Harbour and the Waterfront Cable Car among others. On the other hand, The Summit features Polar Adventure, Adventure Land, Thrill Mountain, Marine World. Ocean Park Hong Kong has a host of shops and dining areas for those who would like to take a rest from the activities.
Optional Tour #3 MACAU DAY TOUR FROM HONG KONG
Includes roundtrip transfers from hotel to pier and back, roundtrip ferry tickets Hong Kong to Macau and Macau Day tour with lunch. We will fetch you at your hotel and assist you in getting you to wharf to Macau. When you get to Macau, the tour guide in Macau will meet you after the immigration section to whisk you around the lovely and quaint city, where the old Portuguese Charm blends perfectly with the glittering casinos.
Optional Tour #4 MACAU DAY TOUR FROM HONG KONG WITH VENETIAN
Includes roundtrip transfers from hotel to pier and back, roundtrip ferry tickets Hong Kong to Macau and Macau Day tour with lunch, a few hours at the Venetian Hotel with dinner. This is esentially the same as Option #3, but you get to stay longer and explore the glamorous Venetian Hotel. Inside the hotel, there are many souvenir shops for apparel, food and wine. Do yourself a favor and try the best Portuguese egg tarts ever.
Optional Tour #5 SHENZEN DAY TOUR WITH LUNCH
Includes roundtrip transfers, group visa arrangements, Shenzen Day Trip. Minimum of 3 persons needed to book. Shenzen gives visitors from Hong Kong experience China’s past and present. While in Shenzen, take the optional Windows of the World Tour where you get to see not only Chine but the seven wonders of the world as well as other iconic landmarks around the world though the miniature structures which are the park’s main attractions.
Optional Tour #6 LANTAU WHOLE DAY TOUR
Includes roundtrip transfers, cable car and vegetarian lunch. This tour includes a visit to Ngong Ping 360, Hong Kong’s spectacular tourism attraction that features a stunning cable car ride up a mountainside with breath taking panoramic views of the airport, the South China Sea, lush mountains and the approaching Buddha statue. This tour runs for approximately 7 hours and requires a minimum of 5 persons to run.
Optional Tour #7 HONG KONG NIGHT TOUR - MADAME TUSSAUDS WAX MUSUEM, THE PEAK
Includes transportation, visit to Madame Tussauds, Victorial Peak, Avenue of the Stars. Dinner is also included. After the tour, proceed to the famous Hong Kong Night Market for some serious shopping. Transfers going back to your hotel will be at your own account and arrangement. Madamae Tussauds features wax figures of famous personalities from presidents, to sports figures, Hollywood actors, to Nobel Prize awardees. Expect to be star-struck.
Optional Tour #8 HONG KONG SUNSET CRUISE
Includes Victoria Harbour Sunset Cruise, dinner and shopping at Hong Kong Night Market. Get to view Hong Kong’s magnificent skyline at dusk. Cruise past Tai Koo, Shau Kei Wan, Chai Wan, Lei Yue Mun, Cha Kwo Ling, Kai Tak, Hung Hom, Tsim Sha Tsui, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay and North Point.
FLIGHTS FROM PHILIPPINES TO HONG KONG
There are many direct flights from the Philippines to Hong Kong if one goes via Manila or Cebu.
There are approximately 15 flights from Manila to Hong Kong and these are covered by airlines like Cathay Pacific, Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines and Dragonair.
On the other hand, there are approximately 3 flights from Cebu to Hong Kong and these are covered by airlines like Cathay Pacific, Cebu Pacific and PAL Express.
TIPS FOR YOUR TRAVEL TO HONG KONG
These are friendly reminders from Green Earth Tours and Travel when planning your trip to Hong Kong:
Travel Tip # 1: Make sure you have a few Hong Kong dollars with you when you get to Kong Kong. That said, there are many forex stalls when you get to the airport in Hong Kong. The shops at the Hong Kong International Airport also accept US dollars.
Travel Tip # 2: Take note of the essentials. Bring your passport and other pertinent travel documents at all times. Make sure that before your travel to Hong Kong, you check your passport’s validity and that your passport should not expire in 6 month’s time prior your travel dates.
Travel Tip # 3: If possible, have your mobile on roaming in case of emergencies when in Hong Kong. That said, we will also provide a Hong Kong contact number you can reach if you need assistance.
Travel Tip # 4: Print out your Hong Kong Travel Voucher, as these may also be asked when queuing for immigration. Make sure that you have the name and address of your hotel in Hong Kong with you. When at the airport, you can ask for the concierge’s help to write the hotel’s name in Chinese, so that in case you intend to travel on your own during your free time, you have this handy and can provide such to your taxi driver.
Travel Tip # 5: Bring some munchies with you. That said, the best way to get to know the Hong Kong culture is to try their local food. Be adventurous and make awesome memories.
