What are the requirements to get a tourist visa to South Korea?
Documentary requirements to apply for a tourist visa to South Korea vary depending on occupation. Please pay attention to the nuances of each set of requirements. These requirements are intended to show proof of your financial capacity to support your travels while in South Korea, as well as your rootedness to the Philippines. Also, first time-applicants have lesser requirements to complete based on the list given by the Embassy/Consualte of South Korea. Those who have been previously denied and would want to re-apply via the Consulate of the Republic of South Korea in Cebu may have to produce additional requirements for possible reconsideration.
Complete requirements do not guarantee a visa grant. Your documents will have to be reviewed and assess by the Embassy/Consulate and if found to be insufficient in weight, erroneous or worse fraudulent, then you may not expect approval. Approval of application is at the discretion of the Embassy/Consualte.
