These are friendly reminders when planning your trip to Singapore:
Travel Tip # 1: Make sure you have a few Singapore dollars with you when you get to Singapore. That said, there are many forex stalls when you get to Changi Airport. Malls also have currency changes. One that you can also visit is Mustafa in Little India which gives good rates.
Travel Tip #2: Take note of the essentials. Bring your passport and other pertinent travel documents at all times. Make sure that before your travel to Singapore, you check your passport’s validity and that your passport should not expire in 6 month’s time prior your travel dates.
Travel Tip # 3: If possible, have your mobile on roaming in case of emergencies when in Singapore. That said, we will also provide a Singapore contact number you can reach if you need assistance.
Travel Tip # 4: Print out your Singapore Travel Voucher, as these may also be asked when queuing for immigration. Make sure that you have the name and address of your hotel in Singapore with you. Should you plan to go around by yourselves after your tour, bring a map. But don’t worry, Singapore is so efficient you won’t get lost as there are a lot of signs to give you direction.
Travel Tip # 5: Go all out and have a gastronomic tour in Singapore. The locals love to eat, and so you won’t run out of food options from hawker centers to gourmet restaurants. Typically, each stall in a food court will represent Chinese Food, Malay Food, Indian Food and Western Food. Try them all out. Your tastebuds will thank you for the experience.
